Packuno started because the two halves of this business kept running into the same problem: things designed to be thrown away. A backpack with a moulded-in zip is landfill the day it snags. A "recyclable" pouch laminated from three polymers is landfill on arrival. We build the versions that aren't — and every bag we sell is built in Kenya.

Honest end-of-life

Our packaging is labelled with what actually happens to it: kerbside, home compost, or soft-plastics stream. Where a product is the least green option in its category, the listing says so.

Every Packuno bag is built here in Kenya. Making them close to home keeps us close to the people who make them, and means a repair is handled locally rather than shipped overseas.

Yes — any packaging line ships as a sample pack at cost, with the cost credited against your first bulk order. It is the single best way to avoid ordering 5,000 of the wrong size.
